Alright, so I’ve got you swooning for palm trees and pina coladas!  (Yay me!)….but what if going to the beach isn’t going to happen for you this summer?  Maybe it’s too crazy at work or you just had a baby and you’re not ready to tackle that kind of outing.  Listen- I get it, which is why I had to write this last part of the series!

IF you can’t go to the beach, BRING THE BEACH TO YOU!

I was able to partner with a local boutique owned by three fabulous women who are all passionate about style and fashion for not just women, but KIDS!  Drop the mic, run to the store, buy all the things, am I right?  Poshture Boutique and Fancy Pants    are two businesses in one gratifying location offering a mom a place to shop for herself, her girlfriends and her tiny humans.  As soon as we walked in we were warmly greeted by Kristin, one of the owners, and her two adorable Britney Spaniels – who the kids immediately wanted to cuddle.  She showed them to the “play corner” and I could take a breath and focus on my mission at hand – some beachy-vibing outfits that were appropriate for any setting.  I was able to leisurely enjoy looking through a variety of outifts that I hadn’t seen on every single Jane in town.

Don’t even get me started on my daughter.  Mackenzie had a handful of dresses in hand ready to try on – like a pro.  I never realized how much my 4 year old could perfectly imitate me.  Right down to the hand on the hip in front of the mirror.  (Perfect pose, girl!)

Outfit #1  – this AMAZING romper/jumpsuit!  Perfect for a casual outing or date night!  Pair a statement necklace OR some colorful earrings and a straw bag and you are done!  I love how comfortable this romper is and how it was flattering and fun!  The material was lightweight and the print was forgiving!  I was concerned about the length, but honestly with the block heels or wedges, anyone 5’4 and under could totally rock it!  Mackenzie’s off-the-shoulder dress had the cutest lace edging and was so soft and comfortable she wanted to wear it 24-7!  Love the color, too!

Outfit #2 – Kimonos are NO longer just a pool cover-up!  They are just the thing for throwing over a pair of cut-off shorts OR a cotton dress!  The print on this one is incredible and the material is so cool and easy-to-wear that I plan on wearing it several times throughout the summer!  (Stay tuned for more style options with this!)  I love it knotted in the front and let loose!  So on trend and priced perfectly!

If you are local to Columbia, I urge you to start following Poshture and Fancy Pants on Instagram/Facebook and sign up for their email list – and

MAKE TIME TO GO TO THE STORE!

They have an incredible gift selection and don’t get me started on the baby section!  If you aren’t local to the Famously Hot city, no worries!  You can shop online!  Mention you are one of my readers and the ladies will take great care of you! Southern hospitality is basically their middle name.  (O.k. maybe not exactly, but you get where I’m going.) You know you are in good company when you give the owner a hug because you’re so excited to go home and try on all of your new pretties!

Needless to say, I am now a fan of a locally owned store and am excited about the future styling and collaborations that we will have!  Thank you so much to Kara and Kristin for helping to sponsor* this post!

What are you most excited about wearing this summer?  What is your favorite place to shop?

xoxo, Brandi’
