Happy first day of September! I can’t believe it’s the start of Month #9 and there’s so much good stuff to be excited about.
First – CAN ANYONE SAY FOOTBALL SEASON? We are big Carolina Panthers fans here in our house, but I know our local friends are definitely into college football (for those of you who don’t know University of South Carolina- The Gamecocks- is here in Columbia, SC) and we will be partying it up with all the dips and beer. I will be sharing my favorite dip recipes on the blog next week!
Also – FALL FASHION FINDS are still in full swing! With Labor Day weekend, the sales are EXPLODING everywhere! Here are some good ones:
My hope is to get to one of these stores and do a try-on with a review for you guys!
September also brings my regular Barré class instruction! I will be teaching every Monday and Wednesday evenings at 5:15 PM in Columbia, SC at MÜV Fitness! I’m stoked to be a full-fledged instructor and can’t wait to share the MÜV-ment with everyone. If you’re local – come on by for a class!
Senegence International, my company, just announced that for the month of September – it is FREE to become a distributor!!! Mouth drop! WHAT? If you want access to 20-50% off all the beauty products I’m constantly raving about AND an opportunity to meet some of the most incredible business women ever AND make some money for sharing it with others….click here!
#SELFCARE is something else I will be talking about this month. As a mom, I find that I have to MAKE time for me. It’s vital for my sanity. I know other moms need it just as much. I am going to be talking about hair styling, at-home facials, drinking water to stay hydrated, home brewed cold-brew, and the best FALL nail colors for your manicure!
Last but definitely NOT least…..On September 26th it’s our 4th wedding anniversary! In the spirit of all things love, Bryan and I are going to be embarking on a challenge. A sexy challenge. When I read Girl, Wash Your Face by Rachel Hollis back in April, she mentioned that she and her husband, Dave had a Sexy September where they had sex every single day for a month. It challenged them and the end result was a stronger relationship. I asked Bryan if he was up for it (pun intended…wink, wink) and I don’t believe there was a second delay to his resounding “YES”. As parents, I feel like sex gets shoved to the back burner so often because honestly – we are EXHAUSTED and it just feels like more work than necessary. We are in love and happy – but this challenge will definitely stretch us to really prioritizing one another. Stay tuned for date night ideas and other things to spice up September! I will be posting updates weekly!
September is going to be one to remember, ya’ll.
