I saw a handful of my favorite fashionistas try on some goods at Old Navy and was intrigued, so I thought I would order a handful of items online and do a try-on in the comfort of my home, so here are my thoughts for their early Spring release.
The PINK coat! $44 (plus additional discounts)

This is oversized, so size down (1 or 2 sizes depending on how you want it to fit), but the cut is flattering and will truly go over anything. It’s UBER soft, too and reminds me more of an oversized boyfriend blazer! I also wanted the tangerine color, but they were out of my size. It keeps going in and out of stock, so it’s a hot item!
The Boyfriend SOFT Shirt $25 (plus additional discounts)
I got this in the blue stripe and the pink/orange plaid and even Bryan commented on how ridiculously soft they were. It’s like the shirt that you wear to bed, but you can throw it over leggings and call it an “outfit”. I also love the way these lay tied, under a cardi, or blazer, or over a v-neck tank or tee! They are great to have for this insane weather that transitions from warm to freezing cold in an 8-hour window.
Mock Neck Rib-Knit Sweater (Peony) $22 (plus additional discounts)

The color of this sweater is insanely good. It’s also very flattering with the directional rib-knit pattern. I was again so happy with how soft and warm it was; perfect for those very cold days that will continue to pop up until March. I would pair this with anything – as it’s work appropriate and can be dressed up with trousers or a skirt and blazer or thrown over a pair of jeans or leggings with a baseball cap on. It comes in a variety of pretty shades and is a great sweater to wear on it’s own or layer with a cozy jacket and scarf.
Tie Front Striped Top $20-25, depending on color (plus additional discounts)

Forgive the weird faces – these were taken from my IG Stories! Follow me for more fun try-ons!
I got a size small in this, but I think with a medium I could’ve worn it with leggings and it would have gotten a multi-functional badge in my closet. I loved how many shades this came in and I loved the pink and the green for spring shades. It is a thicker material and 3/4 sleeved so definitely great for those start out cooler days but end up warm. I also think this would be a great staple through summer and even fall with shorts and wedges; then a vest, jacket, and scarf!
Luxe V-Neck Tee $18 (plus additional discounts)

I have raved about the Old Navy Luxe tees for a year now and my opinion hasn’t changed. I’ve worn Madewell tees, JCrew tees, Target tees, Wal-Mart tees, Nordstrom Brand tees (you get the picture)….and Old Navy tees are hands down the best value and quality for the price. They wash up beautifully; hold their shape; and are so soft and silky! I have bought them in an array of sizes, too for various looks. (For instance, I am a true size Small, so when I size down in an XS I get a more fitted look – perfect for under blazers or cardis. When I size up to a Medium, they are great for over leggings and a more casual/oversized fit.) Stock up when they are on sale because they are well-worth it and a closet staple!
Alright, my lovelies…..that’s a wrap for the Old Navy try-on session! I have Amazon goodies to write about next….so stay tuned!
