It seems like just yesterday I was getting all of my fall decor out and excited to order my first PSL of the season. And now, it’s bathing suit season – again. I walked into Target a few weeks ago and saw the colorful prints and immediately looked in another direction. I was bundled up in my puffer coat and Uggs. I was not ready for all THAT just yet.
FASHION WAITS FOR NO ONE.
I also know several of my loved ones are going on warm-weather vacations coming up, so they are actually more ready for it than I am! So, out of love for you guys (AND fashion) I am biting the bullet and throwing my pale-skinned self out there.
I found this one piece on clearance and it is so flattering! For those with bust sizes of C or below, this is a sexy, yet classy style that allows for movement on the beach or pool chasing after kids or the cocktail server. For under $25, it’s high quality and comes in a gorgeous blue or coral.
I have a feeling this one will be a popular choice because it’s just so feminine and pretty. I actually took this one home with me! It’s plunge-neckline makes me believe that it may be best for C-cup and under girls, but I say if you are busty and don’t mind some cleavage, rock this pretty suit! It had good booty coverage, too. It comes in black and is very similar to the crochet trim that was so popular last year!
Ruffle One-Piece Kona Sol $34.99
The second I put this baby on, I felt good. Classy, put together, and just a bit of cleavage to make me feel womanly and no so “Momly”. I loved the ruching detail at the mid-section because it’s slimming and flattering and the ruffle detail is perfect for enhancing the “girls”. I also love the color options in this, the deep purple/burgandy is a nice alternative to black and yet not flashy.
Leopard print is now considered seasonless, so it makes sense that it would be everywhere for summer, too. I love the colors of this patterned suit. Also, the cups are supportive and have full coverage – perfect for a nursing mama!
Walmart is having a serious Fashion-Step UP game!
I haven’t been able to find this exact suit online, but trust me – if you can snag it in store it is WELL worth the trip! The perfect high-waisted bottom and full coverage for the top half, too. I loved the golden color and the ladder-trim detail. I also found this adorable kimono as a cover-up and the colors compliment one another so well. Each piece under $20 and all Time and Tru brand.
Just a few to keep things interesting! I have more picks coming from Amazon and JCrew, so stay tuned for Part 2 next week!
